By posting our activity and eating habits we can encourage each other, cheer when we're doing well, and give loving reminders when we're falling down on the job. =) I'm creating this team for my (female) family and friends, but I welcome any women who may want to join us!!

    Hi everyone. I'm a 33yr old mom of 4 kids, 14, 12, 8, and 5. In the past 8 years I've completed some 5ks, 10ks, a few half marathons, a 10k trail run, biathlon, 50 mile bike tour, and a full marathon. I'd love to be a part of a group that involves a little friendly competition and motivation to keep me going.

    OK, miss Aimron! no posts for two days?!? what is THAT all about? ;-) Did you walk this morning, even with all the Army people possibly seeing you? What have you eaten today? Come on, girl...give it up!

    OK... so yesterday I walked for 45 minutes then also did some walking at work. My total mileage was hard to figure out but I THINK it was around 4.87 .... I did well on healthy eating, too. I'm beginning to have doubts about this particular website only because it's not easy to input anything except these notes. And Aimee is not writing :-(

    I've started my night schedule, so my workout "day" begins at about 1:30 pm and runs till about 5:00 am. I walked 7.01 miles between those times yesterday, so that's how I'll be counting my mileage from now on.

    The rest of my meals consisted of a SlimFast, handful of walnuts, stick of cheddar/mozarella cheese, and two handfuls of popcorn (sadly, popped in oil - yummy but naughty!)

    Today promises a better eating schedule, so stay tuned when I get home from work tomorrow morning!

    So far today, I've walked for 45 minutes = 2.7 miles. I'm working tonight and have the opportunity to walk a great deal of that time, so I should be able to make the 5 mile mark without too much trouble.

    As far as eating goes, I slept in so it compacted my eating hours (?) but I had a SlimFast for breakfast and then we had "lunch" or "dinner" of baked tilapia, cous cous and a green salad with lo-cal dressing.

    Lots of WATER, too!

    I'll take another SlimFast with me, and have a banana and handful of nuts for a snack later.

    Way to go, Aimee! :-)

    I didn't quite make 5 miles today, although I think some of that may be due to the pedometer flipping over and not recording distance again! I did walk to and from a meeting, 1/2 hour or so each way. =) So my total for today is a little under 4 miles, with about an hour of dedicated brisk walking.
    Following the food plan too...little snacks all day are fun, but I need to work on eating my meals earlier... it's 2200 and I'm just now getting to dinner.

    Well so far my activity today has been surfing...too bad it was on the web and not the ocean! I plan to walk later this evening...I think... :^ /

    I guess it's fair to post something like this: Today I woke with a HUGE sinus headache. I'll be eating healthy foods if I eat at all, but I won't be doing anything strenuous :-(
