well the daily intake of protine is about 1 gram, so not much...some creatine dissipates, but not everything...the main foods that contain creatine is Beef, Cod, Cranberries, Herring,Milk, Pork,Salmon, Shrimp,Tuna.... i mean unless your cooking milk before you drink it---your going to get some form of creatine in your diet.

yea you need to have the right stuff, no we have not experienced that, though i do eat grapefruit that would help combat this... we use; Greenridge NFS Kre-Alkaline (it does promote not to cause bloating)

Yep I hear creatine is in meat, it just dissapates when you cook it, so, start eating raw meats... yeah it puts water in your muscles which promotes healthy blood flow & more oxygen etc...

Hi there. I play Aussie Rules Footy and a mate of mine was using creatine. Although he got heaps bigger he was really bloated and slow - something about water retention in the muscles. This makes me a bit hesitant to use it.

Have you guys experienced similar outcomes? Was it something to do with the brand or type of creatine he was using?

    Thanks

    B.

Creatine is basically in the food you eat...their are creatine out there that do have side affects---its mainly for endurance, being able to go longer. My friends that are on it do various activities from running, cycling and martial arts. Taking creatine they and i believe helps you go the distance, do more than you usually would, helping you with your desired goal.

Hi, I'm a bit curious as to the side-effects of the creatine. Is it useful for those training to drop some body fat or is it just for leaner people trying to 'bulk up'?

  • regalodeldios on 13/9/07

better to take it just before you go-i guess its ok to take it 30min before, take it? its a capsule-as serb007 said, and he tells the rest

how do you guys take creatine?? did you do that load balancing stuff???

I generally take it around half an hour before I workout and then have protein after... not sure if this is the best way though....
