I'm 52 years old and have always been very healthy and very high energy. In the past two years (since having a full hysterectomy) I've gained 60 lbs.! YUK!! I've tried numerous diet and exercise plans including Atkins, South Beach, Nutri-System, and Body for Life. Unfortunately, I just kept gaining!
Since June of this year, when I read "You: On a Diet" and began following their plan, my weight gain slowed ... but continued. The authors say if this is what happens to you, you need to seek medical advice. Their recommendation is to see an Endocrinologist who can evaluate your hormones and other glandular functions. Of course, they're booked until mid-October :-(
Aimron & I decided to make a pact to get physically healthier together. And this is where it all happens!

I noticed you found it hard to enter your workouts, I have just uploaded a video in our blog which takes you through the process. It's designed to be as easy as possible to enter workouts in the shortest amount of time, so it may take a few goes to get it working..

Hi Wolfwoman,
Loving your contribution to iStats. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
OK, well, first I had to find some way to convert to metric. I did.

So learned my height is 152.4 cm but the website wouldn't save it! You can see my weight in kg.
Here are my stats in U.S. Standard: 5'8"/205 lbs.
My goal is 150 lbs. - that's not slender, it's comfortable. I know you're only supposed to lose 2 lbs per week or something, but with 65 lbs. to go, that would take too long. I'm setting my weight goal date as my birthday next year: April 10, 2008.
I plan to do a lot of strength training because I don't want to end up with osteoporosis!
Can't run right now - too heavy. But I do walk...and walk.... and I'll be adding in bicycling now.
